I’ve recently started listening to podcasts. I’ve known about them for a while now…first learning about them shortly after they came out, and thinking, “What the crap? Lame.”
They are not lame. I have 5 podcasts to which (to whom?) I subscribe, and it’s great. Learning, entertainment, and occasional undulating glory. All free and streaming from my AwesomePod to my brain.
If you don’t currently listen to podcasts, there are thousands out there and I’m sure you can find something you like. I heartily encourage you to listen to a few podcasts, both based on your personal interests, and your goals. I’ve learned so much and been so very entertained, that I’m going to start recommending podcasts in general to anyone who will listen.
And a few that won’t listen.
I’m stubborn that way. Also indignant and sometimes mean.
If you don’t have an AwesomePod, don’t worry! You can just download podcasts to iTunes and listen to them on your desktop. Or, if you hate Apple as some MS otaku (I hope I spelled that right) do, you can get a zune and use the zune podcast directory. You can also scour the internet for podcasts and podcast directories and listen to them with the software or device of your choice.
Whatever you choose to do, do it. I think that podcasts can enrich your lives. Seriously. No hyperbole there. If you can find a few podcasts that entertain, touch, or enliven you, then you are enriched. Now go out there and find some podcasts.
